Shona Donaldson, founder and director of Muckle Hen Productions has had a colourful and varied background in film and TV production as a Producer and Line Producer as well as working extensively as an actress and presenter. By the age of twenty six she had three award-winning features to her credit.
Following her features she was headhunted by one of Scotland’s leading production companies to oversee all their commercial and corporate production. After five successful years she was selected as one of three producers in Scotland to work with CH4 and Wark Clements on their new initiative, ‘The Holy Grail’. Shona was responsible for developing returnable drama series ideas for CH4.
Inspired by this experience Muckle Hen was set up in 2003. Shona has produced work all over the world for a host of clients including ICAS, Lloyds, Glenmorangie, IKEA, Scottish Executive, Silverburn, NHS, Northlink Ferries and RBS, in places as exotic as The Irian Jayan Jungle, Las Vegas, Vienna, Helsinki and Dunbar!
